Both of our veterinarians graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and together have over 20 years of medical and surgical experience.

Keith Bruner, VMD
University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, 2006
A native of the mountains of western Pennsylvania, Dr. Bruner has lived in Lancaster County for 15 years. He loves to stay active with his wife and three children, and his family also extends to one dog, three cats, two turtles, and two fish. He has always had a soft spot for animals since he was a child.
Dr. Bruner is an Assistant Scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop 56 in Strasburg and attends church in Willow Street. He enjoys spending extra time outside camping, hiking, whitewater rafting, and skiing with his family and the scouts.
His interests in veterinary medicine include the challenges of working with patients that cannot communicate their symptoms, and his passion is for both the medicine and surgery aspects of small animal practice. He has worked in Lancaster County as a small animal veterinarian since graduating from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006.

Mechelle Dyan Regester, MS, VMD
University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Regester was born in central Pennsylvania and currently resides in Lancaster County with her many cats. Dr. Mikk, as she is affectionately known by staff and clients, enjoys many outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, running, and fishing. Her expertise in veterinary science is incorporated into her personal life, which is a direct reflection of her understanding of animals. A great example is how she trained her cats to trail run with her.
She has professional interests that include general medicine and surgery of companion and large animals. Her future goals are to follow a career that allows her to pursue her veterinary interests while incorporating her passion for technology and imaging, and exciting younger generations about the many aspects of veterinary medicine.
